Portfolio Photos

These are some photos I took today of some of my packaging projects that are going in my portfolio. The first project is a product I made up called Seabreeze. It's an air freshener for land locked fisherman and sailors who miss the smell of the open ocean. It brings the sea to them. The second ones are of Luden's Throat Lozenges. Melinda eats them like candy, so I made the packaging more candy like. I printed it on some brownish paper that gave the packages an old timey feel.

BFA Project

I've been working on my BFA project this semester and I only have about a week left before I have to start printing it out and everything. I'm designing all the collateral for a Ceramics Show I made up. This is one of the web pages I've designed for the show and it's a pretty good tell for the direction everything else is going.

Construction Loan Poster

This is the first poster I have made for my new job at Beehive Credit Union. My objective was to make it have the same feel as previous posters, but to update the look at the same time. I feel that I was able to do so. I got to print it out and then I drove down to the Idaho Falls Branch and replaced one of the posters they had with it. So I guess this is my first "professional" piece.

Death of a Salesman Poster

A poster I created for my Advanced Typography class this past semester. We had to make the main type out of non-digital type. So I cut out all the letters and spray mounted dirt on "Death of a", and cut up one of my ties for "salesman".

Twinkie Ingredient Movie

This is a motion piece I made in my Motion Design class. We were each assigned an ingredient found in a twinkie and had to make short motion piece about it. Mono and diglycerides are also known as fatty acids.

I stole this from my sister so I'd have something on my spankin' new blog.

1. Do you like bleu cheese? I think I hate it, but I had it on some hot wings the other month and it was okay.
2. Have you ever smoked? We used to smoke rolled up paper at camp outs. But we didn't inhale. Dumb, huh?
3. Do you own a gun? Just an airsoft gun, but I don't know where it's at.
4. What flavor Kool Aid was your favorite? Anything but Cherry. I like the crazy ones best, like Watermelon Strawberry Kiwi Blast-o-magic, or whatever.
5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments? I do sometimes get that "nervous poo" feeling.
6. What do you think of hot dogs? I would have to agree with Sara on this one. Who cares whats in the things, they're freakin' good!
7. Favorite movie? Too many good ones out there. I love anything PIXAR, That Thing You Do is great, the Bourne's, Lord of the Rings......
8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? O.J. if we have any.
9. Can you do push ups? I started doing them again. Like a month ago I couldn't even do 10 without stopping. Now I do at least 100 every day. My triceps are bulging.
10. What's your favorite piece of jewelry? My wedding ring is my only piece of jewelry since my Folex stopped working.

13. What's one trait you hate about yourself? Dang I'm fat.

33. Last thing that made you laugh? We were watching Juno, and when her dad said "I'm gonna punch that Bleeker kid in the wiener when I see him", I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing, I was actually crying. Sad, I know.

35. Worst injury you've ever had? I sprained the heck out of my ankle and broke a bone in my foot all at the same time.
36. Do you love where you live? Yeah, but I'd rather be in Texas.
